What is a garden to me?
When I close my eyes and imagine a garden, I always see a little house embraced by flowers in full bloom. It is more than a place—it is a feeling, a memory that has stayed with me since childhood.
When I was a little girl, my mother filled the front of our home with flowers of every color. Each Sunday, she would let me wander among them, choosing and cutting the blossoms I loved most. With my small hands wrapped around a fresh bouquet, I would carry it inside to place on our family table.
In those moments, I felt as though I was bringing home a piece of sunshine. The vibrant colors, the delicate fragrance, and the simple joy of gathering flowers made our home feel warm, beautiful, and full of love. To this day, that is what a garden means to me—a place where beauty blooms, memories are made, and love quietly grows.
